About University of Juba
The University of Juba is the premier public university in South Sudan, dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. Established in 1975 with the goal of training civil servants for the autonomous government of Southern Sudan, the University admitted its first students in 1977 and has since grown into a comprehensive institution of higher learning. Today, the University serves about 40,000 students enrolled in diploma, undergraduate (degree), and postgraduate (master’s) programs across a wide range of academic disciplines. These programs are delivered through 23 Schools, 3 Colleges, 4 Institutes, and 7 specialized centres, with more than 5,000 students currently pursuing postgraduate studies

Tuition Fees at University of Juba
Tuition and related fees at University of Juba cover instruction, registration, library access, examinations, identity cards, graduation, certificates, and academic transcripts. Fees can be paid in full on arrival or in installments per semester through the university’s designated banks, in South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) or United States Dollars (USD) for national and East African Community students, and in USD for international students.
Undergraduate Programs

- Application fees – paid when collecting or submitting application forms
- Registration fees – part of functional fees
- Library fees – access to university library resources
- Identity card fees – student ID issuance
- Graduation (Convocation) fees – for participation in convocation ceremonies

- Full-Time Tuition (per semester): $241
- Part-Time Tuition (per credit): $141
- Technology Fee: $149 per semester
- Student Activity Fee: $99 per semester
